Interesting item at 13:00 - push pull service including a Mk2 and a Mk3 sleeper coach - presume it was a positioning move to Aberdeen using a service train. Flood Posted July 16, 2018 Share Posted July 16, 2018 (edited) It's the return working of the 01.10 Perth - Aberdeen sleeper, 23.30 from Glasgow Queen Street. There was no return sleeper service from Aberdeen to Glasgow so it was added to the stock of the 11.05 Aberdeen - Glasgow Queen Street each morning (except Saturdays and Sundays as there was no Friday or Saturday night sleeper service). The 11.05 was a booked Mk3a working so also of interest is that there is a Mk2D TSO in the rake (next to the sleeper) as a Mk3a replacement.
