Overhead Southern Electric

Any ideas when the Southern Region packed up using the overhead electrification in their goods yards on the Eastern section, in particular Tovil yard at Maidstone. I'm aware the Class 71s were scrapped in the mid-70s and these were obviously the last things to use the overhead. I'm just after a more specific date than 'sometime in the 70s!'
