KevinWalsh
Hi folks, I'm struggling with xtrkcad and rather than punch my laptop I was wondering if there is some kind soul who can convert my pic into an xtrkcad file. The curves at either end are 2nd and 3rd radius and all the track is Hornby standard ready to plant (might have to cut some of it to make it fit) the layout size is 11' by 4' and along the viewing side (where all the coloured blocks are) there needs to be 3" between the edge of the board and the edge of the track. Many thanks in advance Kev
Northpoint
Hi Kev I was intruiged by your post so I thought I would have a go. Firstly, my version of Xtrkcad does not have a parameter file for Hornby OO, so I've used Peco. The best I could do with the edge of the baseboard was 2½ inches - if you squeeze it to 3 inches, the other side of the layout falls off the edge! Here is a photo of the Xtrkcad drawing: Hope this is useful. Regards,
DIFFLOCK
Nice one Northpoint! B) You beat me to it. I've recently started using XtrkCAD and got my own layout design more or less finalised as I type. Diff.
