Penrhos1920
Why do some manufacturers supply stay alive capacitors with wires, but then expect you to solder the wires together? Why don't they just put a little plug and socket on them? It's usually easy to 'loose' a bit of spare wire. Are they any tiny plug and sockets that I could crimp onto the wires? RMweb Gold Bucoops Posted November 18, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 18, 2018 I have wondered that with Lenz - the decoders I have have three solder pads for the stay alive, but a mini connector for the sound. It will e easy enough to make the connection but I don't know why I have to!
