RMweb Gold Sweet pea Posted December 6, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 6, 2018 Hi all I have just received a length of Peco SM32 track for my plank layout. Can I glue the track to the baseboard or is it best to fix the track down with screws. If I should use screws what size drill bit will I need and what screws should I use. RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted December 6, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 6, 2018 From reading Peco's Guide to O Gauge, you can safely glue the track down with PVA or impact adhesive. Cheers, Ade.

doilum
Following advice on a garden railway forum, I drilled a 1 mm hole about 6mm in from each end of the sleeper and secured with 20mm panel pins. Repeat every five sleepers. This avoids twisting in extreme temperature conditions. Once painted the pins are invisible. SM32 track has a good resale value if you change your mind later.
