Lew was £120something. My first 009 too. As you say, tiny, I'm a bit scared of it at the moment!   

 

To run it in, after the summer I'll probably get a circle of cheap N gauge track or maybe some rollers. 

 

As to the project, I've been doodling with a smaller version of Lynton - I'd call it Lynbridge which I think is where the station actually is - but it's very early days and I've plenty else to get on with. I'll probably go with DCC because I can borrow the controller from Burngullow when needed so I will just need to buy the the odd chip. 

 

Lot's of learning and summer reading in the meantime!
