Hi all,

I wish to scratch build the above wagon, BR number B439124

Can anyone point me to where I can find a drawing or any size,

eg height above rail,   wheelbase,    overall length etc   as I could work from photos from that info.

Best wishes,

Paul

Thank you Fat Controller, that is exactly what I wanted. It is information I will keep and use again and again.

Best wishes,

Paul

PS I have a statue of you on my railway !

Those Weight Diagrams are fascinating; wait until you find the Ferrywagon ones; these have notes on many wagons, indicating routeing restrictions. Some are fairly obvious, but I'm still trying to imagine why a Greek Railways insulated van might be sent to Trimsaran.

Hi Paul,

I managed to build a Cartic set from the Barrowmore diagram information below and Paul Bartlett's photographs.

It took a bit of work to sort it all out but quite possible to end up with an accurate model, it yet requires some etched brass details but it is going well so far.
