AJCT
I was looking for details of the Tweeddale Railway Society exhibition at Romanno Bridge, and so far I've found this - https://newlandscentre.org.uk/events/railway-model-layout-exhibition-2019/ - does anyone know more details, eg what layouts might be on show ? Dungrange
Edinburgh and Lothians MRC will be exhibiting again at this event as per previous years. This has become a regular show for us. We will be taking Glendevon this year.

Tynedaletrains
Exhibition has been postponed because of tomorrow’s forecasted 5 hours of heavy snow at the venue! Edited March 15, 2019 by Tynedaletrains
Dungrange
It appears that this weekend's exhibition has been postponed rather than cancelled and will hopefull happen later in the year. The following has been issued by the Newlands Centre. **POSTPONEMENT** Due to the issuing of a South of Scotland Yellow weather warning tomorrow and the localised expectation that the probability of heavy snow is 90% forecasted, we have reluctantly taken the decision to postpone the Model Rail & Layout Exhibition this weekend. Our Centre stands at an elevation of around 200-270m above sea-level so any snow forecast is likely to impact here. Exhibitors were expected from all over Scotland & the North of England so we felt it was prudent, after last years snow, to give all as much warning of this decision as possible. A lot of preparation has been undertaken for this event which we are understandingly reluctant to lose. We will therefore seek to re-schedule the event for a suitable date in the future. We will advise you of this in due course.
Tynedaletrains
Typical rotten luck really! Especially after last year! But can’t be helped and we will look forward to working with the Newlands Centre to arrange another date. 1
RMweb Premium cessna152towser Posted March 16, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 16, 2019 (edited) The correct call, I think. The Hornby Dublo 3-rail tinplate was all packed Thursday night and ready to be taken to the venue on Friday till we learned the disappointing news that the show was off. Woke up this morning (Saturday) to a covering of snow here in Hawick. While it later turned to rain and is now all melted here by late afternoon, I could envisage much worse up there at Romanno Bridge where the venue is higher above sea level and further west. Dungrange
I understand that the postponed event is now going to be held on the weekend of the 4th/5th May.

Wonder if it is possible for the thread title to be edited to reflect the new dates and now not include the postponement? Event also advertised for new dates by roadside advertising on A701.
