MU5T4N6
Hello, I have here three old Bachmann GE U36Bs (41-640-02). Two are dummies and one is a non runner. All three are marked as ATSF 350. While the model itself looks very nice, it is inaccurate, as ATSF 350 actually was a GE U28CG. Comparing images of the two engine types, it seems like the U28C is "just" a longer version of a U36B with C bogies. The cab of the U36B seems to match the cab of the U28C very closely. So I was wondering if it would work if I cut up two of my U36Bs and combined them to form a longer version of themselves, the U28C. Of course there are other details that need to be changed but the cab seems to be the main part. If that doesn't match, it would be more difficult to adjust that. Does anyone have any more info about how U36Bs and U28Cs compare? Edited April 11, 2019 by MU5T4N6
