Steam 24/4/19 between Crewe and Wolverhampton

Hi

I'm currently travelling north (c9am 24/4) on a Virgin service and out of the corner of my eye saw a steam service flash past travelling south.  Didn’t see the loco but was wondering if anyone knows what it was likely to be?  Real time trains is failing to give me an answer!

Crewe Wolverhampton is quite a range, can you narrow that down a bit.

Surprised no ones sprung this yet, especially as its a double header...

 

34046+45231 on an ecs to from Crewe/Shrewsbury, 47614 on the rear. 5 coaches, 3 of them BSKs.

Went through Wolverhampton on the Oxley chord at around 10.00 this morning with a bit of slipping and noise. Very surprised to see a double header on this route.
