GWR Camp Coach

Recommended Posts

On the generally accepted principle that if something quacks like a duck and looks like a duck then......

Knocked up from a 7 compartment early Triang Clerestory, this shows at least a passing  resemblance to one of those wonderful coaches that the GWR peppered its system with at various points of beauty. As a child, I remember seeing one at Sully, a stone's thrown from the chemical works: perhaps not one of south Wales' better-known points of beauty. I'm fairly sure that this was  BR Western Region initiative though and not a traditional GWR location. Anyway....

Planning to take one from an end hand-rail to a post stuck in the ground!  Will use some extremely fine wire[rather than the near bailing twine a fellow club member suggested!]. A dust-bin will appear in due course as well.
