4mm/00 scale loco lamps

Could I please enlist the help of the good people on here?

 

I am looking for some 4mm loco lamps that don't look "overscale", remember seeing a link to a supplier on a thread recently (may have been a layout thread) but for the life of me I am unable to recall which thread it was.

I have searched through the threads to no avail so I am looking for help in selecting said lamps.

Lanarkshire Models are very good ones and cheap. Modelu do dearer ones, I haven't never used them.

I use the Modelu ones and they are not expensive, and very well printed.  You have to paint them and glue the lenses in which is fiddly.  They have slots and are suitable for mounting on scale brackets, but the handles are a bit delicate for that sort of repeated handling.  As an alternative, Springside make cast whitemetal lamps supplied ready painted and with the lenses in, but the handles look overscale.  You can drill holes in the base of these to accept lamp brackets.  I use Rexel no.13 staples cut to size as brackets; both types of lamp work well with them.
