Sol
I have a sound decoder that is loaded with a diesel sound but may want to use it in a Pannier - a replacement for a conventional decoder. Can it be used without the speaker? Ron

Ron Yes but obversely you will not get any sound, it will work as a normal none sound decoder unless you use F1 then it will use the motor settings depending on make of decoder and setup. I'm assuming its a Zimo or ESU sound decoder not a TTS? Wiggy.

Sol
Certainly not TTS, I think it is a Zimo but I may not need to use it as the existing one in the Pannier came to life.
