RMweb Gold Ralf Posted December 20, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 20, 2019 Hi All, Had been loving using Roket Plastic Glue (https://deluxematerials.co.uk/products/roket-plastic-glue) with it's non-clog tip which was very magical and super handy, neat and accurate until I managed to clog the tip. Having contacted Deluxe it seems I must have used it on the wrong bottle of glue and hence it's now clogged. Anyone know where I can buy spares tips of an similar design? Did ask Deluxe but no answer to "can I buy spare tips" was forthcoming. I know they sell similar (identical?) tips with various bottles and syringes but I just want the pink bit and the needle bit - and probably more spares for when I mess it up again! Thanks Ralf ps Did order a spare bottle from a large online retailer but only realised ages later the tip wasn't included so didn't go back to them, if I don't notice I've only got half a parcel for weeks I don't feel that's their fault! Mainly I think as was fairly sure they didn't sell them on their own - so didn't look too hard! Thanks Ralf
RMweb Premium polybear Posted December 22, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 22, 2019 Maybe soaking it in acetone would work, unless the pink bit dissolves... Still, it's b*ggered anyway, so nothing to lose.
Feoffee2
I have found holding blocked pins over a lighter sometimes unblocks them.
