Homologator
Hello, Given just how small they are what is the best method for mounting N gauge figures on platforms etc.? Regards David.
RexAshton
Ensuring the feet are flat a spot of good quality superglue on each foot works well.
RMweb Premium BR60103 Posted February 7, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 7, 2020 Woodland Scenics makes Accent Glue. This is like a rubber cement, but reusable. Apply to the feet and let set (go from white to clear) then press into position. The figure can be pulled off and installed somewhere else a few times. I have found that the glue may be stronger than the bond of paint to a surface. There are also problems if you try to put the figure onto scenic scatter. No idea of a UK supplier. Homologator
Thanks for the suggestions. I think super glue is going to be easiest, had a quick search, couldn't find "Accent Glue". Kind regards David.

JeffP
Are you sure you want them mounted? Wouldn't they look better just standing side by side? Old joke...sorry, I'll get me coat....
RMweb Gold Shedman5 Posted February 10, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 10, 2020 I use Tacky Wax which works fine and allows me to reposition if I want them with ease. Alan
Homologator
JeffP! I had to explain that to my grandson who is just starting his first model railway! He dissolved into fits of laughter! "Honestly Grumps (my name = grumpy old grandad!) I didn't think people who build model railways would be funny! all the blokes at the club are even more grumpy and serious than you!" (I believe he's right!). Keep em coming! even the old ones!
