ozzyo
Hello all, just been down to the local market with the wife, and spotted some stuff called Flower Soft that may be of some use for the scenery side of the hobby . It is like a multi colored flock powder but with a bit of body, if you get me. It comes in a lot of varieties. One that I saw would do for Rose Bay Willow Herb that is quit common along the line side. You would have to make the stems out of cheap paint brush bristles to get the height. It should work in 4mm and above and with a bit of work climbing roses around a door etc. If this has been mentioned before sorry. Hope this will help someone. OzzyO. backwaterscotland
I have some of this stuff in my scenics box waiting to be tried - I bought the Heather mix which I'm hoping might be useful for heather funnily enough. Some of the colours are a bit bright but some look quite useful. I seem to recall a letter in one of the railway magazines a while back where someone used it for climbing plants on the side of a signal box. The website showing the colours etc is here Andy B)
