#6 - A Quick One, While He's Away - The Who's mini opera.

Had to look that one up as I'm not a real Who fan. Wiki say's it was written in '66, whereas the question says '65.

It also says Tommy wasn't until 1969, so another one wrong.....:D

"A Quick One, While He's Away" is a 1966 song in six movements written by Pete Townshend and recorded by the Who for their second album A Quick One.

I believe it was the collective name for members of Steppenwolf.

Also featured in Easy Rider was 'The Pusher' very dark and very much opposite to Born to be wild.

More 'Born to drink mild' then?

Right here mate!! Hope you’re well.

By the way, I thought the Dave Clark 5 released Glad All Over back in 1964, not 65.

A few years older, but still breathing and enjoying the lock in....

According to Wiki, Glad all Over was released in ‘63 but made no 1 in ‘64. The only one that could be prefixed with the word ‘were’ in 1965 would be Reeling and a Rocking.....

I hacked up a perfectly acceptable BSA B31 to try and make it look like Fondas Harley.

High bars, peanut tank, skinny front tyre and tall seat back, all on what had been a really rather nice Triumph T90. Then again 50 years on, last year I went out and bought a Yamaha Virago, so back to the look in my 70's, got the "T" shirt too "growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional". And I got a few wrong too, but then again I can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday!
