robertwm3110 Posted May 20, 2020 Share Posted May 20, 2020 Hello, i am looking to fit loco lighting (cab and/or front/rear) to a few locos recently converted to DCC . Mostly Zimo chips. This includes a couple of Bacchman brass shunters and DJH class 03/14. What or whose lighting is recommended...LED???? Am ok on the wiring to the chips, just not sure or what lighting to use. Presume voltage would need some form of resistors??? (Please correct if necessary, my dad was the electrics man and it didnt pass down!) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
JeffP Posted May 21, 2020 Share Posted May 21, 2020 Can't help very much, but do remember that cab lighting wasn't very bright, so go for very low output LED's, or grain of wheat bulbs with resistors. Also warm white, not daylight. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
