GWR-fan
I am curious if the arched roof "shed" in the car park adjacent the Highley signal box (circa-2010) is the original goods shed having been relocated. I have looked for an original image of the goods shed to get an idea of its shape. Edited June 15, 2020 by GWR-fan additional info
RMweb Premium Blandford1969 Posted June 15, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 15, 2020 Not sure if Highley had a goods shed. The best person to ask would be David Postle at Kidderminster Railway museum, who has been working on a history of Highley station for 30 odd years. Best wishes Duncan
GWR-fan
Many thanks. Edit: it would seem that the area that is set aside for goods handling is a "staging" area and so no actual shed.
