jukebox
I'm looking for a source for oval cabside numberplates to add to an industrial tank loco I am building. I'd like something similar to this: The oval shape and ornate font are what I'm chasing - preferably in low numbers - below 10 would be best, but below 100 would still do. (of course the LB&SCR is not relevant, but in 4mm would scarcely be ledgible, so even a source for these would be fine). Can anyone suggest a manufacturer/supplier/stockist? Kits from Somerset
They are listed in my 1990 Jackson Evans cat, not shore if they are still around closed down or taken over. Somebody will be able to tell you that.
RMweb Premium ianmaccormac Posted May 29, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 29, 2010 Hi, These are what I produce. These are 4mm scale. 4mm high for the North British one and 4.5 for the LB&SCR one. I can etch for you if you like at 11 pounds for 2 numbers of the same style incl p and p if you send me photos or details/drawings, with an about three week turnaround or I have some numbers in stock at the mo.
