No, that is pretty well the same price as when it was new if you look up tables that show inflation since 1985. It was £17.95 and until available from the Book Club it would only have been sold at that price as books maintained fixed prices after RRP was abandoned. It took a bloody fortune to write by all of us! My computer for the tables cost £2000. Film cost about 20p per frame, either colour or once b/w was developed and printed. Just look at the places we went to do the measuring and photography. We also destroyed a series of motor caravans and other vehicles. Not complaining, it was very good fun, but there is a strange attitude towards books at the moment.
