CEG
I have two locomotives that are DCC Ready but not DCC Fitted. The two locomotives are; 1. R3183 Arriva Trains Bo-Bo Diesel Electric Class 67 2. R3350 DB Schenker Class 90 The Hornby site has very detailed instruction for other locomotives, which I followed and got the other ones, (Virgin and Eurostar) fitted and working very well. However, there are no instructions for the two locos above. Can anyone please assist with instructions for the above? Regards CEG
Sir TophamHatt
Do you just need instructions on how to fit? Most locos operate in the same way - screws underneath and clips to release the body from the chassis. Then just look for the blanking plug and swap it for a chip. However the manuals are available on the Hornby website here: Hornby Locomotive Maintenance Sheets. The Class 67 doesn't have any screws I don't think (the manual doesn't seem to say so) but check underneath. Don't know about the 90. Sol
Or have a read of this site https://clarahost.clara.net/www.bromsgrovemodels.co.uk/decoderinstallation4mm.htm
andyman7
The Class 90 has two screws underneath but the need to remove these is missed of the instruction leaflet! But once these are removed the body is easy to remove and there isplenty of room for the decoder.
