Tim Chambers Posted June 4, 2010 Share Posted June 4, 2010 Like many, we have enjoyed watching this years "Springwatch" programmes on't BBC especially as they feature the Arne peninsular,a very attractive local wildlife reserve-only one thing puzzles me,the redoubtable Simon King has omitted all mention of the delightful narrow gauge line which used to run across the area to the wharf on the edge of Poole Harbour,photographs of which have, I believe, been published by a certain Mr. Nevard.Should I be writing to the BBC for an explanation?
