The treatment of the end gangway on the BG is interesting. If I eventually overcome my resistance to obtaining one of each of the Bachmann models of these gaudy vehicles to work with my small stud of 1967/8 Scottish diesels on my space-restricted layout (for a highly improbable feeder service) this mod would be worth a go - also flush-glazing the conveniently rectangular windows with acetate sheet to better match the CCT, which a certain retailer not far from me still has in stock at a good price........um.......I appear to be talking myself into it!!

 

The Class 25 is a rarity too - the use of the Rail Alphabet number style on pre-TOPS two-tone green 25s with the later body was uncommon, but this may be the first time I've seen it on the earlier body style. Looking at the cab roofs it must have acquired these while having some work done......
