Westward DAF Artic?

Can anyone help with this kit, which I recently aquired.

I think it is a Westward kit W20?

Looks like the 5th wheel isto far back and the windscreen looks wrong.thanks in advance.

Hi, I have never seen that kit before. Yes the 5th wheel is too far back, the hole the trailer pin goes into should be in front of the back axle (otherwise the weight of the trailer would overload the rear axle).

The cab is supposed to represent a 2600 but to be honest looks a poor rendition

 They weren't that common over here as DAF were just getting established,  the later 2100, 3300 versions were much more common

The cab looks as if its a few millimetres to far forward. If its glued together soak it in Dettol which will dissolve the glue and paint.

The fifth wheel should be further forward, as described, but the cab needs some serious reworking to be authentic - it's just not right. That said, it's a rare kit with a good resale value.
