Fredo
Hi, does anyone know of 61668 was in anyway different to 61665 or 61669 as I want to renumber one of the Hornby models of them to 61668 which was the last B17 in traffic when withdrawn in August 1960. slilley
What era are you modelling, when it was withdrawn in 1960? If so by then it was running with a Diagram 100A boiler by then which had an additional hand hole for washing out.

45568
The main difference between 61668 and 65/69 is that 68 was fitted with a Westinghouse pump on the r/h side of the loco. https://www.rail-online.co.uk/p73734433/h809113e6#h809113e6 This would need to be added to your model! If it is any consolation, I have renumbered a B17 to 68 and did not realise this!! Cheers from Oz, Peter C.
