LNWR/Pre Grouping Coach interior designs/colours?

Hi all, I'm fairly new here on RMWeb so I may have missed if there's any threads already covering this. But does anyone know what colours the seats were in most LNWR coaches? Blue or red? I've been making some ratio kits and would quite like to model the interiors. Actually already 3D printed the seats and luggage racks to go inside!

Btw I first tried out blue on the seats because I thought that looked nice.

The HMRS publication "LNWR Liveries" has  details on carriage liveries and interiors. No longer in print is is usually available S/H through the usual railway bookshops.

Hi, yes, there is 2 threads, my mistake! I accidentally put this in the wrong category, so I reposted it in the correct pre-grouping category.

 

There isn’t a way to remove threads is there?
