cp409067
"Brink Valley Tramway" article published - see it at MOMING'10 I am pleased to announce the publication in the July 2010 issue of Railway Modeller a five page article (with excellent photographs by Craig Tiley) on my new minimum gauge (O9) "Brink Valley Tramway" layout. This represents an 18"gauge steam tramway in a rural setting with passenger, goods, and mineral traffic. The layout is one of the exhibits that can be seen on Sunday 18 July 2010 at MOMING'10 (the "exhibition within an exhibition" at the Telford Narrow Gauge show - http://www.ngtrains.com/telfordng.htm). cp409067
The "Brink Valley Tramway" - a second batch of photographs on line MOMING'10 will be in just over two weeks time on Sunday 18 July 2010 where my O9 "Brink Valley Tramway" will be one of five layouts and two dioramas on display. Today my good friend Jacky Molinaro has kindly posted a second batch of photographs of the layout on the Minimum Gauge Forum. These show a departing passenger train hauled by tramway loco no 7, the passenger brake van, and the wooden shed with corrugated iron roof of "BQCo" (the "Brink Quarry Company"). They can be seen here - http://www.minimumgauge.info/viewtopic.php?t=6747 Jacky's own website presents a feast of his own modelling and that of others. Although the original language of the site is French much of it has been translated into English. http://www.jackymolinaro.com/index.htm Christopher Payne MOMING co-ordinator (e-mail cp@portpyn.com).
