rogerdee
I have been having trouble my powercab. When I took it apart there was a black sticky residue on the circuit board and on the back of the rubber buttons. I cleaned it with meths but it comes back after awhile. Has any one experienced this or know of a cure?. Thx Edited October 23, 2021 by rogerdee Stupid auto spell
RMweb Premium Ray H Posted October 23, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 23, 2021 (edited) I've taken a few apart but never found anything like that. Any indication where the residue is coming from? Edited October 23, 2021 by Ray H
Crosland
Probably the rubber buttons breaking down. 2

rogerdee
It seems to be coming from the black rubber behind the buttons.
Ron Ron Ron
Once that rubber reacts and turns to goo, it doesn't stop. (don't ask how I know) Remove the membrane ASAP and clean up any mess left behind. a replacement will need to be ordered. .
