A fellow modeller seems to think one was matched to a 4MT on a trial basis, although he can't evidence the fact. Thank you for clearing this up. Wickham Green too Posted October 23, 2021 Share Posted October 23, 2021 (edited) OK, reference HAS now been made to the appropriate RCTS 'bible'. 75000 - 49 had BR2 tenders from new - these had no fall plate and were later fitted with draught excluders. 75050 - 64 had BR2A tenders : identical to BR2 but with fall plate and gangway doors 75065 - 79 had BR1B tenders : higher capacity and equipped with fall plate and gangway doors. 75080 - 89 cancelled. "Engines tended to stay paired with the same tender for the whole of their working lives. ........ Towards the end ... 75075, being noted coupled to the very high capacity BR1F tender from a ...
