RMweb Premium nightstar.train Posted October 28, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 28, 2021 That's a very interesting rake. Very front coach is a Mk2 brake coach of some sort, the next 4 coaches seem to be Mk2 Pullmans, and the rear 4 are from the Queen of Scots charter set. Can't really see what the middle coach is but it looks like a Mk1 SO or similar. As far as i can see the rear 4 appear to be (from front of train): Service car No 1 99886 - converted from Mk1 BSK LNWR dining saloon No 159 (99880) Great Northern saloon first No 807 (99881) Caledonian Rly observation saloon No 41 (99052) - converted from West Coast joint stock kitchen third. There's some good photos and more info on the Queen of Scots set here https://andrewstransport.smugmug.com/WestCoastRailwaysWCRC/Queen-of-Scots-train/. It's owned by West Coast Railway Co now.
Bomag
The Mk2a brake would have been BFK 17102. The Mk1 after the last Mk2 Pullman could be 5067/99993
