gwrman
Hi guys, can anyone advise me on fitting a sound chip to a Bachmann Class 66, it has a 21 pin socket and the chip has to. Is it just a matter of plugging in the chip and finding room for the speaker or is it more involved. Nigel.

Nope - its that easy, there is space for the speaker and even connections on the circuit board.

Hi thanks, are the connections on the PCB for the speaker, because I haven't seen it yet, my friend down at my railway club has asked me to fit it for him. Nigel.
