woodenhead
There is a channel on YouTube that is sharing a lot of Jack's programmes at present. Really nice to re-experience the joy of his programmes that I would watch as a child, even more interesting now as an adult. Dublodad
I have a DVD box set of his programmes, really enjoyed his programmes. A young Simon King appears in some, he is now a wildlife presenter
Nearholmer
First reminder of him since the mid-70s! I always associate him with ‘Gone Fishing’, a sort of latter day Mr Crabtree, and ‘Out of Town’, plus a similar think he used to do as part of a southern TV weekly magazine programme, and it wasn’t until I looked at his biog that I realised he’d done a great deal more than that. RMweb Gold Trevellan Posted January 31, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 31, 2022 A remarkable man. I follow one of Jack's mantras, namely to learn something new on a regular basis, especially as I get older.
tigerburnie
I too have dvd's and follow the youtube channel, he was a great story teller about things that really interested me, it didn't matter that he spun a few personal yarns, he had a nice nature.
