dave55uk
I have the Realtrack 156 with 2 x loksound v5 speakers (as supplied) and all was well until I wanted to change the decoders addresses from the default '3'. I drove the unit onto the loop which doubles as the programming track, went into programming mode and did the necessary. But back out of programming mode, the 2 cars now want to go in different directions to each other. I tried seperating the cars and turning one of them the other way round and programming them again but with the same result. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong - obviously I'm having a senior moment here.
WIMorrison
change CV29 on one of them to reverse the direction. If CV29 is even then add one, if it is odd then subtract one - but only do this to one decoder.

RMweb Gold BoD Posted February 23, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 23, 2022 (edited) I seem to recall the instructions somewhere warning you to programme the two cars separately. I’m sure Iain is correct but it might be worth having another check of the instructions I don’t have mine to hand at the moment. Edit - sorry, ignore this. I have just checked and can't find any reference to this. I must have imagined it or it must have referred to something else. Its the 'oldtimers' disease kicking in. Interestingly @WIMorrison, sometimes the cars seem to fight but mostly not. Shutting off the speed and trying again usually fixes that.
