Fence paint advice

Hi I have just purchased a Wills Kits SSM317 Modern security palisade fencing. Now I need some advice on what colour I should use as the main base colour.

Do I paint it with Vallejo aluminium paint then weather accordingly or would you advise on something else.

I would use a  grey colour.  Maybe Humbrol 64 or Revell Mouse Grey. 

 

After all that's the colour it tends to go as it is zinc coated in reality. 

 

I think anything silver would look wrong
