Esmedune
Hello all! I have picked a GEM J36 up and like most models, it is a bit lacking for detail I am mainly looking for a brake system and the brass valve globe things on the smokebox... Can anyone point me in the right direction? Edited February 26, 2022 by Esmedune

JeffP
If it's the same kit as the one I did in S4 35 years ago, you might want to look at a scratch chassis for loco and tender. The supplied ones were lumps of cast white metal. I used Alan Gibson coupling rods and built it compensated. Wheels were from Mike Sharman. It featured in Railway Modeller, built as 65243 "Maude".
