I bet those green Falcon's go quick, although if I were Hattons I'd tell the factory I wanted them barely past 'pristine'. Nothing worse than a heavy handed, poorly done, weathered limited edition, IMO.

Do you suppose they will take the opportunity to fix the mirrored tank sides? That change alone might count it as a limited edition, without taking the chance of upsetting the collectors out there who bought the last green one... wink.gif

Is it just my perception, or are all new Heljan offerings 'commissions'?

Oh dear...

Pictures/drawings of the new L/E Class 47s are now up on the Hattons website. Hopefully not the final liveries, because the position of the nameplates for the BR Blue variants 4791 (47508 SS Great Britain) and 4794 (47555 The Commonwealth Spirit) is wrong. They are shown in the lower position for the original WR nameplates, not the correct higher position.

Hopefully this has been spotted by Hattons and corrected before production. Having said that, clean removal of Heljan's nameplates is easy so fitting cast nameplates in the correct position shouldn't be a problem - at least on the unweathered version.
