Yes certainly quite early and there was no booked traffic on some of the route although it was still used for booked diversions until 1968, the passenger service had gone in 1960.   Cheltenham Racecourse station remained in use until 1976

No booked local traffic, there remained through much of the 1960s a couple of bubble-car worked Stratford-Gloucester workings a day which ran non-stop. They may well have been the longest non-stop runs in service ever made by bubble-cars  and it was a distinctly weird experience travelling on one. I have a vague recollection that there may have been a skeleton Stratford-Evesham service as well.

Timetabled passenger trains via the route -

Leamington-Stratford-Gloucester using bubble cars (until March 1968).

Stratford-Honeybourne-Evesham-Worcester (until 1969).

Until 1976, freight traffic and use as a diversionary route. Ceased after a freight train derailment when the track wasn’t repaired and the route closed.
