Neils WRX
I recently purchased a Jouef Wagon on a well known auction site, but one of the buffers was damaged. I tried emailing Hornby and they forwarded the email to Jouef but they wanted the exact part number which I don’t have a clue. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement by another manufacturer? Thanks, Neil

doctor quinn
Another vote for AMF87, I’ve used their Eco range of white metal castings which include a rectangular style. They’re a complete buffer, I can’t see if the Jouef one includes the shank. Here’s a set on an Hbis Edited June 16, 2022 by doctor quinn Add pics

doctor quinn
Thanks, the air brake set is Wizard Models, hand wheels are Stenson Models and the brake shoes are either Wizard or MJT. The other bits I made from nickel silver wire and scrap brass. Apologies for the thread hijack Edited June 17, 2022 by doctor quinn Additional info
