N gauge class 33 chasis

Hi, can anyone tell me if the Dapol 33 chassis is the same as the 27?

Hi nearly, the baseplate that holds the buffers and tank mouldings differ to suit the prototype but the mechanics same, lighting bits differ to suit prototype.

If you remove bogies and swap base plates and resolder light rigs you could do a change, but the question is why ?

Hi Robert, was just an idea for a dummy, 33 bodyshell. Have just got back into N from O after 20 odd years and dont believe Dapol made a dummy 33

Hi , correct no dummy 33.  Check out DCC supplies Dapol N spares you might find bits required to do the conversion.
