TRIO OF NEW MODELS UNVEILED BY BACHMANN COLLECTORS CLUB

 

After N and OO scale models of Class 08 Diesel Shunter ‘Molly’ were launched at the Bachmann Collectors Club Members Day in September, three further Limited Edition models were today unveiled by the Bachmann Collectors Club during Bachmann Europe’s Winter 2022 British Railway Announcements.

 

 

 

In OO scale the award-winning, all-new Class 47 from Bachmann Branchline forms the basis of a Bachmann Collectors Club Limited Edition release for the first time. Offered in Virgin Trains livery as No. 47845 ‘County of Kent’, this Class 47 is available in standard, SOUND FITTED and SOUND FITTED DELUXE format. The SOUND FITTED model is fitted with a ESU V5DCC Sound Decoder, whilst the same is present in the SOUND FITTED DELUXE version which also sports motorised radiator fans and authentic tinted windscreen glazing. Pricing starts at £239.95 for the standard model, £339.95 for SOUND FITTED and £369.95
for SOUND FITTED DELUXE.

 

The new ‘Dance Hall’ Brake Van from Bachmann Branchline is now available as BR Crane Mess Van No. DS55466 in its distinctive livery of BR Departmental Olive Green with Yellow wrap-around ends. A reprieve in departmental use following withdrawal from revenue earning service ensured this example would be the final ‘Dance Hall’ of its type in use on the national network before it finally succumbed in 1989, thankfully being later saved for preservation. The Bachmann Collectors Club Limited Edition is available now and is priced at £49.95.

 

For N scale the Graham Farish BR Mk1 BG has been produced in the attractive Maroon and Cream colour scheme of Northern Belle. Depicting No. 92094 which runs on B4 bogies and serves to provide storage for passengers’ luggage on the luxury Northern Belle train, this Bachmann Collectors Club model is priced at £45.95.
