In the twenties the CIWL bought some British Pullman cars from the Pullman Car Company for use in Italy. Later, before these were returned to England, they were used in other trains including the Paris-Belgian Coast Pullman Express. For the first class the British cars were used while for the second class the Etoile du Nord CIWL Pullman cars were used. The video shows this Pullman train with 7 mm Pullman car models from Elettren and Fulgurex. The size difference between the British and Continental cars is obvious. Note that the real continental Pullman cars were also made in Britain and special precautions had to be made to transport these from the factory to the harbour for shipping to Europe.
