Suitable replacement motor for Roco Loco?

I have a Roco BR80 loco (04114A) which has a faulty motor. It was running great on DC, later DCC, but now makes a horrible grinding noise. I took the motor out so I could try it outside the loco and it's definitely the culprit.

 

I've tried looking for a replacement motor to no avail. I can't even find a replacement parts list except for the later model which is very similar. The motor on the later one has a fly wheel, but I'm not sure if will fit my loco.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?

Hello, I'm a bit late here, but Roco still make a lot of spares available so it's worth having a look to see if that's something you could get from them - you can search for the part(s) you need on their site and order online:

Have you tried oiling the bearings?
