mevaman1
I have purchased a secondhand Bachmann 20/3 and it is completely dead on DC with no lights working. I am wondering if it has a decoder fitted instead of the blanking plug. I am trying to find a photo of the PLUX22 blanking plug used on a Bachmann 20/3. The Bachmann spares website doesn’t list these for the 20. I can see them for the 121 and 158. Are the blanking plugs the same for all Bachmann PLUX22 fitted locos? What do these look like? Advice and photos would be much appreciated. Andrew

mevaman1
Hi Stevie Very many thanks for the photo. It is a great help. it is now clear that my loco has a PLUX22 decoder fitted. I will change it for a blanking plug and then check that it works on DC. Andrew
GmacD
Spotted this thread regarding Plux22 decoder blanks. I have a Bachmann class 121 DMU which is currently fitted with Lenz decoder. I went to refit the original decoder blank to the unit to run DC only to discover that I have lost said blanking plate. Does anyone know were to purchase these as I have searched high and low on the internet and nobody seems to sell Plux22 decoder blanks? Or am I missing something here. Thanks.
