Where is WC2Scale?

Hi,

 

I have used WC2Scale extensively for researching Wisconsin Central rolling stock.   

 

However I tried last night and got a blank screen with the address bar reading "https://wc2scale.org/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi".

 

Does anybody know what's going on, please?

It's gone for good apparently.  Replaced by "The unofficial Wisconsin Central modeler group" on Facebook. 

If you message Bob Menzies via the group, he should be able to link you up with the WC2Scale photo archives.

Thanks Martin.   Sad news indeed.   I'm not on Facebook, but might be worth looking.

Somebody just sent info. about "Classic Train Fallen Flags:  Wisconsin Central Remembered".   I'll have to console myself with that!

Is that a book? I like the W.C. myself, not least for it's livery.

 

I used to have a W.C. cap, and wore it at work occaisionally. One of the other drivers saw it and asked - "Wisconsin Central? What's that then, a prison?"

Yes that's the one!   I noticed that our local branch of WH Smiths recently stocked an earlier issue of "Fallen Flags" about a different road.   (Can't remember which one.)
