You should be able to re-map the lighting functions in the decoder, you can with most of the popular ones.
RMweb Premium melmerby Posted May 23, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 23, 2023 (edited) This is a snip from JMRI Decoder Pro (If you haven't heard of it, it doesnt matter) This shows a Lenz Silver + 21 and the options you can set for lighting Both the normal lighting outputs (F0) and Function 1 can be set for either direction. Other decoders may differ but this is typical of what's available in decoder programming. Edited May 23, 2023 by melmerby

RMweb Premium melmerby Posted May 23, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 23, 2023 DCC91 or DCC95? What DCC system? I've just had a look at their "manual", it is just a basic sheet of instructions with the only comment about function mapping being: "see function mapping section" Sadly there isn't one!☹️
RMweb Premium melmerby Posted May 23, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 23, 2023 To be honest, this should've been posted in the DCC questions and help section. A non-descriptive title like "Kernow Bullied 10203" will not get much attention from DCC users, some of which may have the same loco/decoder/DCC system as you.

It could just be the function mapping defaults are different Without more information from Gaugemaster on settings, it's difficult to know what is not correct for your installation. I don't use retailer's branded decoders, sticking to Lenz & Zimo, both of which are supplied with a wealth of information on settings.
