Desktop hobby CNC machine recommendations

I'm looking at possibly buying a small CNC machine mainly for producing some custom PCB work and then later adding a laser cutter head to look at creating the buildings for Ipswich.

 

Does anyone have experience of the sub 1000GBP machines that would be suitable for this?

I know Sainsmart do a router CNC machine that can also be fitted with their laser units. I have one of their laser cnc setups, an LC-60A and it's a good machine. The Sainsmart you can find on Amazon.
I also have a 10w laser machine that can be purchased with a z axis rotary unit, but I don't have any info on the router as I opted not to buy it. This machine can be found on Ebay listed as 80000MW CNC 6565 Laser Engraving Machine.
