Dunalastair Posted June 11, 2023 Share Posted June 11, 2023 A third static diorama, for now, this time of one of the 24" gauge railways in the Oxfordshire ironfields. Again mainly 3D printed, this is based on a photograph in the Eric Tonks book. 'Plank and barrow' working was a feature of early quarries before excavators were used to shift thicker overburden. I would not have been much use as I am not keen on heights!
