Dunalastair
In the early days of narrow gauge electric mountain railways, the 'Rowan' design was popular, as in this evocative image on the Jungfrau. Some of the systems used two wires rather than just one, and this model in my 'diorama-a-day' series shows one such, requiring no fewer than four Kato N gauge pantographs - a veritable forest of metalwork. Rowan was a Irish / British designer whose work seems to have more appreciated on the continent. As usual, my model was 3D printed, while the diorama used hanging basket grass over shaped insulation foam. Note the printed rack between the 16.5mm gauge rails. The overhead masts were printed, but as wires are typically almost invisibly thin, I did not string any wires this time. I am getting towards the end of my dioramas / microlayouts but there may yet be a few worth posting ... 5
