Gordonwis
Could someone please advise / remind me what rail code the various 12mm gauge track offerings are? All types old (eg the Bemo and 'Bemo shinohara' type) and new (eg Hornby TT) would be ideal if possible

RMweb Premium Keith Addenbrooke Posted September 14, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 14, 2023 The Peco Code 55 works on the same basis as their equivalent N-Scale offering: a double-webbed rail sunk into the sleepers. Peco TT:120 left, Peco H0m right (passenger cars both European TT): The webbing is then thicker for the Code 55 to disguise the illusion (chairs are modelled on the outside of the rail). Peco H0m top and Peco Code 55 bottom: Hope that helps, Keith. 2
RMweb Premium JimFin Posted September 15, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 15, 2023 The Bemo track was code 100 and code 70.
A4CML
I found this photo on the weichen-walter website some time ago. It gives a useful visual comparison of the different HOm track types. It looks like the Peco TT track is similar dimensionally to the Tilling, apart from the rail profile. Keith, the Peco TT track looks to be approx. 6mm sleeper spacing. Could you measure the sleeper length/width please? 1
